Absolute Dominion (2025) – Full Movie review
Set in the year 2063, Absolute Dominion takes place in a world torn apart by endless religious wars. To finally end the bloodshed, world leaders decide to hold a brutal martial arts tournament called The Battle of Absolute Dominion, where fighters representing every major religion compete to the death. The winner’s faith will become the only recognized religion on Earth, bringing an end to all others.
The story follows Sagan Bruno, a young, genetically enhanced fighter who represents the Institute of Humanism and Science — the only group without a religion. Sagan’s participation threatens the power of traditional faiths, making him a target for powerful religious and political figures who fear his victory. Protected by his guardian Naya Olinga, and guided by his scientist father Dr. Jehuda Bruno, Sagan enters the deadly tournament where every fight is a struggle not just for survival, but for the right to define humanity’s future.
As the tournament progresses, betrayals, assassinations, and hidden agendas unfold. Sagan’s journey becomes more than just physical combat — it’s a test of faith, reason, and what it truly means to be human. The movie explores powerful themes of belief, freedom, and the dangers of trying to control humanity through ideology.
Absolute Dominion combines action, drama, and deep philosophical questions about religion and power. With intense fight sequences and a dystopian backdrop, it delivers a thought-provoking story about a world desperate for peace — and the high price of achieving it.
